Our bags are packed; room is ready; errands are complete. Only things missing are our Visas and passports. That's right. We don't have them yet, and we leave in 3 days. This is cutting it MUCH, MUCH too close for this Type-A personality. We did receive confirmation today that they were at least dropped off at the UPS store in VA. So please, please, please UPS get them here tomorrow!
We are doing well considering we are leaving in three days to travel across the world with 3 people and coming home with 4. We are doing well considering we will be gone for 2 weeks and somehow managed to get our suitcases right at, or just under, 44 pounds. We are doing well considering that we know only about 4 words in Chinese. We are doing well considering we are about to welcome another little human into our family that we've never met. We are doing well considering that we are going to be on an airplane for a REALLY, REALLY long time….twice in 2 weeks! I am doing well considering I'm going to be off from work for a while and have to make sure that they are set up for success. We are doing well….no panic attacks, yet. Ha!
It is HOT and humid over there right now, at least in the areas where we will be. Like 80's and 90's! That will be a change from this crazy weather we are having here right now, but similar to Tennessee summers.
I am going to try and blog as much as possible while we are there, but we did receive word from another family that their WiFi has not been working, so we'll see.
